George Washington announced that they’ve hired Eric Atkins as an assistant coach.
“With the collection of guards we have within our program, and that we have committed to us, we are very excited to have someone with Eric’s ability join our staff,” said head coach Jamion Christian.
Prior to joining the Colonials’ staff, Atkins coached at Howard. Earlier in his career, he was the video coordinator at Notre Dame.
“It’s an honor to be at a school with such a rich basketball tradition, and I’m looking forward to connecting and assisting our staff and student-athletes as we become a top program in the Atlantic 10,” said Atkins.
