The Caps have signed goalie Henrik Lundqvist to a one year $1.5M contract.
Lundqvist had spent his entire with the New York Rangers until the club bought him out of his contract.
“I just felt that Washington checked every box that was important to me, and obviously it starts with a winning team,” said Lundqvist.
