Week one of the NFL season has a strange feel. With no preseason games, there is no canvas to judge how week one will play out. So in many ways everyone is picking blind. It can be easily argued that people are picking blind every week but I digress.
Week One Picks
Houston Texans +9 at Kansas City Chiefs
There shouldn’t be any hangover in this one. Opening night against a team that lost their best wide receiver.
Pick: Kansas City -9
Cleveland +7.5 at Baltimore
Baltimore had a magical year until they ran into Tennessee’s cinderella run. Can Lamar Jackson be even better than he was last season? Highly unlikely. Couple that with Cleveland learning a lot from last season and this should be a cover for the Browns
Pick: Cleveland +7.5
Dallas Cowboys -3 at Los Angeles Rams
In a year so strange, this could be Dallas’ year. With no preseason hype, a motivated Dak Prescott should be ready to show out for the Cowboys.

Los Angeles Chargers -3 over Cincinnati Bengals

Tennessee Titans -2.5 over Denver Broncos
