Maryland Basketball: Preview of Nebraska

Quick Look at Maryland vs Nebraska

Opponent: Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-16, 2-10)

Streaking: Terps have won six in a row; Cornhuskers have lost eight in a row

Early in the season the ninth-ranked Terps had problems winning on the road. During their current six game winning streak, they have won three on the road (Northwestern, Indiana, and Illinois). The winning streak has propelled Maryland into first place in the Big Ten.

Just like any head coach, Mark Turgeon deems that as a “trap game” but don’t expect the Terps to struggle at all tonight. Nebraska doesn’t have a road win against a top 10 opponent since 2014 (at Michigan State). Maryland could bring their “C” game and defeat a Huskers team that is coming off it’s worst loss of the year under new head coach Fred Hoiberg.
