Redskins vs Eagles preview

The Washington Redskins start the season with a bit if a mystery on their hands. The Eagles go into this season with a new set of offensive weapons such as Alshon Jeffrey and Torrey Smith, and Skins have no tape to see how they will use them at all. Carson Wentz is coming off a solid rookie season and looks to build on that season week 1, starting with the Skins.

The Redskins have depth at defensive positions they didn’t have last season which will help them out a lot, especially in the secondary. Coach Gruden and the passing offense I think will be a bit too much for Philly, Eagles are a great run stopping team, but very inexperienced on the back end of their defense, the secondary. Crowder, Reed, and Pryor will take advantage.

Kirk Cousins plays the Eagles unlike any other team in the league, having a 4-1 record and averages 316 passing yards/game against them. Eagles secondary wont have an answer for the passing game and Skins will open it up with a patient run game to keep their strong D-line off balance. Skins win 27-20.
