Sacramento King’s Guard Darren Collison Suspended – Sacramento Kings guard, Darren Collison, has been suspended 8 games after pleading guilty to Domestic Violence .

Maurice  Joseph named George Washington’s Mens Basketball Coach – GW named Maurice Joseph their Men’s Basketball coaching replacing Mike Lonergan.

LeBron James endorses Hillary Clinton– LeBron James endorsed Hillary Clinton in an Op-Ed piece in the Akron Beacon Journal. This is the latest in a long line of off the court social involvement by NBA players.

Ben Simmons Injured – Ben Simmons fractured his foot in training camp and will be out indefinitely. GM Bryan Colangelo said Simmons will not be rushed back.

MLB Playoffs Are Set – In the AL Boston, Cleveland and Texas won their respective divisions while Baltimore and Toronto captured the Wild Card slots. In the NL Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington won their divisions while New York Mets and San Francisco Giants won the Wild Cards.
